In the first chapter of Under a dark sunAlba Mazier (Ava Baya) goes on from a violent living situation with her young son Leo (Max Harter). Holy for cash, she is surprised to have an email inviting her to interview for a job on a rich Arnaud Lasserre flower farm (Thibault de Montalembert). Shortly after she gets the job, however, Arnaud is being murdered – and Alba has been set up to look like the main suspect.
