The incident that caused panic at the airport forced the cancellation of all the planned flights overnight, local media reported.
President Boaka, who returned from a trip to Nigeria with his environment, was safely evacuated as a whole when the authorities announced the investigation.
Photos of the trampled plane at Roberts International Airport (RIA) spread to the social media, causing concern for the president’s security.

In its statement, the Liberia Airport (LAA) department confirmed the “unhappy situation with the almost ash” with the participation of the presidential plane.
The authorities have rejected reports that suggest that the incident was caused by poor runway.
“The runway infrastructure remains completely appropriate with the international aviation security standards,” Laa said.
Since then, the aircraft has been removed from the runway, and ordinary operations have resumed at the airport, the authorities said.
“At this stage, the investigation into establishing the actual cause of the incident continues, and the airport body will inform the public,” LAA said.
The Liberia’s presidency has not yet commented on the incident, but he shared photos of the sides who arrived at the airport, where he talked to journalists for a short time without mentioning the scare of the plane.
He went to Nigeria to take part in the 50th anniversary of the West African states’ regional economic community (Ecowas).
