The court started with 10 people accused of robbery by Kim Kardashian at the 2016 Paris Hotel.
The Star of Reality -Television and the Business Woman was connected and kept under the sight of the luxury luxury, where she stopped during the Paris Fashion Week.
About 10 million dollars (£ 7.5 million) were taken away from it, including diamond participation in $ 4 million (2.9 million pounds) from the then -husband of Kanier West.
In the large courtroom, decorated with tapestries of the 19th century, the court received an exciting shot to the life of various heroes who are suspected of participating in robbery.
For the first – 71 -year -old, UNUS OBAS – it was done through “enquête de personnalité”, a kind of report about a man accused of a crime that French courts regularly include in his lawsuits. These reports occupy elements of family history, behavior and work of the defendant to draw a picture of their life and help the juror.
The court heard a long list of crimes in which Abbas was found guilty in the past – from a small crime and dumb drug trafficking to bank robberies – and distracted his difficult childhood, which was partly carried out in Algeria and was marked by his two siblings.
Abbas – who spent almost a third of his life in prison – already confessed to his role in robbery and even wrote a memoirs called, I raised Kim Kardashian. The President of the Court, David de Pos, suggested that the book shows how Abbas was proud of what he was doing – what he repeatedly denied.
Asked if he had sympathy for his victims, Abbas said he never did to Kardashian -hista, “but this time I regret what I did … It opened my eyes.”
Abbas said that while watching television in prison, he collided with tireless lighting, which made him realize how much Kim Kardashian suffered.
“We just grabbed a lady’s handbag, but I found that she was injured,” he said.
The court also focused on Gary Madar whose brother -in -law provided transportation and taxi Kardashian for several years. Now the 35th two parents are accused of feeding information on the gang about Kim Kardashian’s location on the night at Rabak.
At the time, Gary worked as a customer service at airports for a transport company. His task was to welcome VIP -travel to Paris airports, and accompany them through passport and customs checks. Through this work, he met with Kardashian several times.
But he also worked at a cafe, which belonged to another defendant, the 52nd Florus Herui, to whom investigators believe that Madar conveyed information about Kim Kardashian.
He denied this, and his lawyer told the BBC that Madar should not be on the dock because there was no “firm evidence” of his participation.
78 -year -old Mark Boyer, who is accused of arms supplies used to threaten Kardashian, has also been questioned for a long time. He regretted that his son Mark -Alaxandr Boyer – also the defendant – grew up surrounded by “thieves” and “Krux”, which made him make the wrong choice.
Otherwise, the more defendants will speak about if the trial version by May 13 – the day when Kim Kardashian should testify.
The vast majority of 400 journalists who report this lawsuit are expected to flow into the court building on this day, and the court officers do not know how they will post so many journalists who want the front.
The court will hear only 10 of the 12 people arrested in 2017 because one died last month and the other, 81, will be justified because he has advanced the dementia.
Another, Amar Ait Hedash, will be on Wednesday, but now he is almost deaf and dumb, and he will have to write his answers on the piece of paper.
The trial takes place eight and a half years after the robbery.
Patricia Turachki, the reported crime report and the author of the robbery, told the BBC that the Parisian courts were engaged in major terrorism trials for several years, which created a lag.
She also said that long expectation was related to age and health problems, which meant that they had spent a little time in temporary detention.
“After they were released, the judges felt less relevant to draw a trial,” Turachki said.
