Kat Dennings stated that she will “always say yes” to playing Darcy Lewis in future MCU projects during a recent interview with Collide.
It is so true. It is not. I pinch myself for that. I was telling my husband (Andrew WK) the other day that I think the coolest thing that ever happened in my entire career was when I became a LEGO Darcy. They are called LEGO Minimates, and there is a Darcy. I literally can’t believe I’m a LEGO. This is the best thing that ever happened to me, besides meeting my husband. It’s the best, ever. I can’t believe that this character has become this thing that has gone through so many different things. It’s one of those lucky things because that role was originally just supposed to be an assistant who was in a couple of scenes in Thor. And for whatever reason, they expanded it and expanded it and continued to use me. Each time, I said, “I can’t believe they want me back. This is the best!” So, whenever they ask me, I always say yes, no matter what. I can’t believe it.

I think everyone is always joking about Big the Cat, so I can’t say when or where or how, but we are very aware of its popularity and what it could mean for our cinematic universe. He is a fan favorite, he is certainly one of my favorites, but who knows when he will find his way to the big screen.
