A massive explosion and fire flashed a port on Saturday in southern Iran, allegedly related to the shipping of the chemical ingredient used to make rocket fuel, killed by eight people and suffering about 750 people.

“The fire was reported to be the result of incorrect treatment of solid fuel intended for use in Iranian ballistic missiles,” Ambrey said.

The port of Shahida Rajai in Harmozgan province is about 650 miles southeast of the Iran capital, Tehran, on the Strait of Mountains, the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf, through which 20% of all passage of oil.
