We are on the days of summer dogs and the boxing calendar warms up. Although there has been a lot of boxing for the first seven months of the year, it is worth a step back and consider what is in the store for boxing fans for the next thirty days.
This weekend will feature an intriguing riad card, Saudi Arabia. The main event will see a heavy weight clash, with Moses Ituma (12-0, 10 ko) taking the veteran Dillian Whyte (31-3, 21 ko). According to Ring Magazine, it is a good struggle for ITUAMA, the perspective of 2024. Ituma, a twenty -year -old Southpaw, will assume Whyte. At the age of 37, Whyte has been in the professional boxes of boxing since Ituma was six years old and was a world champion Kickboxer before that. There have been some rumors about Ituma, finally to face Oleksandr Usyk. This seems premature, but if ITUAMA does a spectacular performance against Whyte, who knows it.
In the same letter, Nick Ball (22-0-1, 13 ko) will defend its WBA heavy weight championship against Sam Goodman (20-0, 8 ko). In addition, Raymond Ford (17-1-1, 8 ko) and Abraham Nova (24-3-1, 17 ko) will face the heavy penply of feather weight. Nova is a replacement opponent of the Super Feather IBO, Anthony Cacace (24-1 ko) champion, who retired due to a back injury during training.
The second weekend of September is becoming a giant boxing weekend.
The first fall struggle will take place properly on a Saturday night in Las Vegas, on September 13. The Allegiating Stadium, headquarters of the Las Vegas Raiders, will host Canelo Alvarez (63-2-2, 39 KO) defending its indisputable half-weight championship against Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 ko) in a battle between two of the best boxers of this time, broadcasting Worldfide on Netflix.
It is an immense struggle, but it could prove the adage that there are weight classes for a reason. Since July 2023, when Terence Crawford became the indisputable champion at 147 pounds, beat Errol Spence, Crawford has once struggled. This struggle was 154 pounds against Israel Madrimov last August; Crawford won, but it did not look like his usual me. At the weight, Crawford tilted the stairs to 153.4 pounds for this struggle.
Crawford will now advance two weight classes to assume Canelo Alvarez, who first fought in this class of weight in December 2018 against Rocky Fielding. The fight against Crawford will be the twelfth struggle of Canelo for Canelo in Super Middleweight, while also again weighed in Middleweight (against Daniel Jacobs) and fight twice on lightweight weight (against Sergey Kovalev and Dmitry Bivol, the last time Canelo lost) at that time for a good measure. Crawford has enough talent to compete with Canelo, but the talent is far from the only variable here.
Jermell Charlo (35-2-1, 19 ko) attempted this same feat two years ago, in September 2023. Charlo was the indisputable middle weight champion and dared to be excellent in moving two weight classes to assume Canelo, the indisputable champion in a weight class of fourteen pounds larger than his. Canelo dissected Charlo, who lost a unanimous decision by scores of 119-108 and 118-109 twice. Jermell Charlo has not fought since.
The only man struggling in both Canelo and Crawford, Amir Khan, said that about the monumental party: “ There are weights for a reason in boxing.I have great respect for Crawford who shows the balls and fighting a beast like Canelo. Maybe Crawford is seeing something in Canelo that others do not see and that he has passed his date. Think about it. ”
As he speculates Canelo vs. Crawford Clash are not bright. Callum Walsh (12-0, 4 kos) vs. Fernando Vargas Jr. (17-0, 15 kos), Christian Mbilli (29-0, 24 kos) vs. Lester Martinez (19-0, 16 kos) and Mohammed Alakel (4-0, 0 kos) and John Ornellas (5-2-1, 2 kos) The trio of contests are announced. Mbilli vs. Martinez has the potential of being a lens, with two superses and uninvificed weights with a percentage of more than 80% of more than 80%. Given the other two attacks, this event, unfortunately, does not coincide with the depth of quality fights that boxing fans have seen in some other important letters of struggle in recent years. If Canelo vs. Crawford turns out to be a classic struggle, none of this will import.
The action that is not limited to the western hemisphere at the weekend. At the beginning of that day, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Lewis Crocker (21-0, 11 KO) and Paddy Donovan (14-1, 11 KO) will face Windsor Park in a resale that will also be the first world struggle for world titles in history, played for the vacancy IBF. His first struggle in March ended when Donovan disqualified after the eighth round by punch on Crocker after the bell. Although Donovan led the three cards of disqualification, he lost one point in the sixth round and another in the eighth round by punch before the DQ. Crocker hopes to show that he had a night out in March, while Donovan seeks to win the victory rightly and the heavy weight championship.
On Sunday, September 14, will feature the pound boxer in the sight of many, Naoya Inoue (30-0, 27 KO), defending its light and indisputable championship, against Murodjon Akhmadaliev (14-1, 11 ko), an old unified champion in the 122-pound division.
While Inoue, 32, has won eleven consecutive fights for Knockout, “The Monster” has been demolished in two of his last four fights, against Luis Neery and Ramon Cardenas. If Inoue defeats Akhmadaliev, Inoue has another struggle aligned for December 27 with the Mandatory WBC Challenge, Alan Picasso (32-0-1, 17 ko), which would be his fourth struggle in the calendar year.
But Uzbekistan’s native, also known as MJ, should not be opened by Inoue or Fans. He has won his last three fights since the loss of decisions divided to Marion Tapales. Akhmadaliev is extraordinarily talented and has been in large fights so as not to sneak in front of the monster, at least in theory. Many challenging have thought that they would be demolished in Inoue, but it has not yet happened.
In the burial, Yoshiki Takei (11-0, 9 ko) will defend its Wbo Bantamweight championship against Christian Medina (25-4, 18 ko). Takei, the former world champion Kickboxer, will try to defend his championship for the third time in a row. Medina, born in the same city as Canelo Alvarez, Guadalajara, is the number 1 contestant and has lost once in the last six years.
The time is heater, the regular NFL season is near and the transfer window is still three weeks. So put -you enjoy a great boxing action and it will be autumn before we know.
