Family Restaurant at North Bend, Oregon responded to Jason Kelce give them a bright review following an unexpected visit.
“You never know who you will run in here,” posted the pancake mill and pie shoppe Via Facebook On Wednesday, June 4.
The organization, which has been open since 1981, re -posted Kelce’s message about his dining experience, which included a photo of the former NFL, 37, standing outside giving up two thumbs.
“Driving in North Bend or. Found this amazing place on the side of the road,” Kelce shared by Instagram on Wednesday. “The service was patient, food was great, flax for sale, dear, great pancakes, and cream cheese pastry.”
Kelce explained that the restaurant had felt nostalgic for cooking his mother’s home, Donna Kelce.
“Donna used to make a strawberry cream cheese pie growing up, so he felt particularly special,” Jason wrote. “If you hold yourself out like this, really enjoyed this quaint spot.”
Jason shared a picture of the strawberry cream cheese pie, as well as a picture of the rest of his table, which included pancakes, pancakes and a sandwich that appeared as a pancake mill, traditional bacon, a lettuce sandwich and tomato with avocado.
It’s unclear why Kelce was in Oregon, but fans of the pancake mill on Facebook were delighted to see the cohost “new heights” in their neck in the woods.
“That’s pretty cool,” one person made comments on the restaurant’s mail. “It seems like a fun dose.”
Another wrote, “Go birds! 🦅 Love you didn’t either know who he was or you let him eat in peace. Either way, he was a victory. So happy he didn’t miss the chance to have the breakfast, pie and the best service on the Bay while he was in town!”
Jason – who welcomed his fourth daughter, Borderwith his wife, Kylie KelceOn March 30 – looks clearly slim than his play days in his picture outside the pancake mill.
Last month, Jason revealed he has lost 25 lbs Since retiring from the NFL in March 2024.
In a video shared by the PGA from the 2025 pro-ampitual championship in Philadelphia, Jason said he was trimmed down to 270 lbs after playing in 295.
In June 2024, three months after the announcement of his retirement, the former Philadelphia Eagles Center said it had already begun the weight loss process.
“Currently I’m around 277. I’m almost 20 lbs down right now,” said Jason Gq at the time. “It’s hard to imagine almost 20 another pounds coming away, being honest with you. But my back already feels better. My knees are already feeling better. So hopefully another 20 pounds will do that much more skilled in playing with my children.”
