Jesse Merkel, whose eight -year -old son Fletcher was killed while firing a Catholic Annunciation School on Wednesday, read a family statement near the church directed.
He described his son as a loving boy who enjoyed fishing, cooking and sports.
“We will never allow us to keep him, talk to him, play with him and watch him grow into a wonderful young man he was on his way to becoming,” Mr Merkel said.
