Former Captain of the Australian National Team Aaron Finch said he found captain in the toughest IPL than running his country internationally.
Aaron Finch also revealed how he was constantly changing the teams of the India Premier League (IPL) and not getting a permanent franchise that he could call his home.

Finch played for nine teams: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Lions, Kings Xi Punjab, Delhi Daredevils, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals and Pune Warriors – on his long career at the Premier League (IPL).

He started his career at the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 2009/10 season and ended with a point with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2022.
In general, he played 92 games in the Indian League T20 of Marquee and scored 2091 runs at an average of 25.19 and a strike rate of 128.20.
Aaron Finch is considered one of the best T20 players of all time, and also led Australia to the T20 2021 Triumph and Melbourne World Cup renegged to the BBL title of the 2018-19 season. He captured many teams from different leagues in his career, but found the captaincy with Pune Warriors at IPL the hardest.
“IPL was probably the hardest, because you join a short period of time. In Pune Warriors, I went in as a spare player, and then two or three games later, I was captain. I simply did not have the time to meet everyone in the squad, which is really difficult.
“Captain of Australia, you have some of the best players in the world all the time, so my job was quite easy there. Everyone knows what they try to do. It was not as good in the IPL as I played renegades or Australia. Sometimes the pressure of trying too much and trying to force -a little there was a little bit,” Finch said to the monthly cricket.
I debuted at IPL at Rajasthan Royals – Aaron Finch
Aaron Finch talked more about his unmatched IPL with Rajasthan Royals (RR), where he signed a three -year contract only to be forced to auction due to changes in the rules.
“I debuted at IPL in Rajasthan Royals. I played a game under Warnie (Shane Warne) as a spare player, the last game of the year. It’s funny how your career may have different turns. By the end of this year, I would have signed a three -year agreement with Rajasthan.
“I was a player without covering up, and all of this was over the moment. We went to the Champions League and had already reached my three -year agreement with Rajasthan.

While talking about representing 9 different teams, Aaron Finch left a brutally honest comment. He said he was either a good enough player to be chosen by different teams or not good enough to be retained. Said:
“This is a great way to look at it. Or he was a good enough player to continue to be chosen, or he was not good enough to be that player of one or two franchises. Of course, I would have loved to stay in a franchise for all time.”
