Jude’s law plays Russian leader Vladimir Putin in The wizard of the Kremlin, But he did not try to trigger an argument with his performance.

“Olivier and I discussed that this was not to be an interpretation of Putin, and he didn’t want me to hide behind a mask of prosthetics,” Law told reporters. “We worked with an amazing make -up and hair team and we had references from that time in Putin’s life. We tried to find me familiarity. It’s amazing what a great wig can do.”
As for Assayas Director, 70, he said during the press conference that The kremlin wizard highlights “transforming politics in our lifetime.”
“The film is largely about how modern politics was invented. Part of the evil was raised (which was) of the power increase of Vladimir Putin in Russia,” said Assayas. “We made a film about what politics has brought the scary and dangerous situation we all feel we are in. It applies to many authoritarian leaders.”
