Ex -India bowling coach Bharat Arun has made a significant statement on the future of Pace Bowler Jasprit Bumrah with the Mumbai (MI) Indians in the IPL. Arun stated that Jasprit Bumrah should prioritize the IPL key test series to manage the workload and maintain maximum performance.
Jasprit Bumrah played in three of the five Anderson-Tendulkar 2025 trophy tests against England as part of a workload management plan. The 31 -year -old Pace Bowler has faced recurring injuries to his career, including a back injury earlier this year in Australia, which kept him for three months.
Bharat Arun urges Jasprit Bumrah to jump IPL to prioritize test cricket
Speaking about the last episode of Bombay Sport Exchange, Bharat Arun said that the test cricket should be a priority for fast bowls like Jasprit Bumrah. He noted that, unlike the baptisms or spinners, fast bowls require rest to recover. Arun also stated that the BCCI should properly compensate for players.

“This would definitely help. Especially when you want to preserve the bowls. Just as it is good for a blender or spinner to play all formats. But for a fast diaper, yes, playing too much cricket does not give enough time to work on the physical front,” said Arun, as toi cited.
“So yes, it can definitely be examined. People like Bumrah or any other diaper we consider to be very important for a certain series can be resting and they can also be properly compensated.”
“If the BCCI is compensated and it says it properly, because it has a contract, we want you to work on this particular aspect of your game, I think it is fair enough.”
Jasprit Bumrah next to being seen in action in Asia Copa 2025
Jasprit Bumrah played the first test game in Headingley, lost the second, and appeared in the third and fourth test. The right arm diaper delivered 119.4 points during the series.
Bumrah claimed 14 doctors, including two five -wicket transport, with an average of 26.00 and a strike rate of 51.28. The blue men, led by Shubman Gill, won two games when Bumrah was in the XI performance. The series between India and England concluded in a tie 2-2.
Bumrah has represented India in 207 international matches between formats, taking 457 doctors at an average of 20.63, including 17 five -wicket transport. The next will play India in the Asia Cup 2025, from September 9 in the United Arab Emirates.

The former Indian bowling coach called Mohammed Siraj a diaper to any captain he would like to have. Arun said that Siraj has maintained a high intensity throughout the five series. He stated that Siraj must be enough rest before the next series.
“Siraj has been there for some time. It has been exceptional. It is the Captain’s delight. Every time he gives him the ball, he runs and gives 100%. This is what I hope of a fast diaper. He has a fantastic energy,” said Arun.
“In view of this five-tested series, Siraj has kept the same intensity in the fifth test as in the first. You need to keep yourself and give it a sufficient rest before the next series so that you can recover completely physically before playing again.”
