A! News host Justin Sylvester Offer passionate response to Tiktok Star Gibbs grant Crumbl Cookie Cofounder Out Sawyer Hemsley.
“Sexuality (sic) on -lein is not right. It wasn’t… it’s never right,” wrote Sylvester, 38, through Instagram on Friday, August 29. “I don’t care which political / religion / attachment party.”
The play started when Gibbs, who has 229,000 Titok followersmake a video suggesting that Hemsley was “gay for the gods” After watching him speak.
“There is a genetic component of a mother sexuality, and let’s say he has the gene and there is no evolution of denial, babe. Oh my God, that’s a gay man!” Gibbs told his followers. “That’s a gay guy and I’ll say to his face. There’s no denying that. Holy S ***… I’m not worried if I overwhelm the CEO with millions of dollars, I don’t give af *** but that’s a gay man.”
The video collected more than 20 million scenes and 1.7 million “likes” as it provokes an argument as to whether there is ever a valid reason to assume or out someone’s sexuality.
Sylvester explained that he did not necessarily “defend the crumbl cookie” as much as opposed to the tactic of a trip.
“No shadow but I don’t know this guy, I’ve never met that guy – I’m sorry to this guy ‘ – I say so doesn’t become a trend on Tik Tok in 2 days and everyone feels empowered to’ justly out ‘someone,” he argued. “Take it from someone who has been more than (sic), it’s terrible and dark. I know people who have taken their own lives for things like this so think it’s twice.”
Several Bravoverse personality showed their support to take Sylvester, with New Jersey Real House Wives‘S. Margaret Josephs. Dubai real housewives‘S. Chanel Ayan and Shahs from Sunset aum Mercedes Javid All supported in the comments section.
“Your friendly reminder that is not (guessing) ‘in Hi … or him.
Sylvester previously opened for his journey to come out Today with Jenna and his friends In June 2022, when he explained he knew he was “different” to 5 years old. He continually remembered as much homophobic bullying as a child he used to “run through the woods” to escape other children to “torture”.

Nathan Congleton/NBC“My whole family knew I was bullied because I was gay and I think they denied about it. I denied about it,” he remembered. “Giving up so, this is my distress in life. I wish I had not only accepted myself earlier, but I wish I wouldn’t have denied who I was.”
For him, Hemsley responded to the viral debate with A poignant mail on Tuesday, August 26.
“Over a little time of the past, people on -le tried to define me, turn things, and share conversations in ways that feel harmful. Instead of letting others write my story, I want to share it in my own words,” wrote Hemsley, 33, through Instagram. “The truth is, over the past few years I’ve come to understand and accept that I’m gay. It has taken me a long time to process this part of myself and even longer to feel comfortable enough to say loudly.”
He went on, “For most of my life, I did not get the clarity to answer the questions or respond to the rumors. Coming to terms with him has been overwhelming and, at times, terrifying – but he has also brought me peace, joy and validity that I would not trade for anything.”
Co-founder Crumbl mentioned that his journey was “complicated” because he was brought up with “values and beliefs” that he was still respecting “deep”.
“I remain grateful for my foundation, even as I work to embrace this truth about myself,” explained Hemsley. “I know that some people might have questions or even judgments, but my hope is that kindness, empathy, and love will lead the way. I have learned so much through this process – about strength, compassion, and the importance of living genuine.”
The CEO concluded, “At the end of the day, I am very grateful: for the opportunities I have had, to the people who support me, and for the opportunity to live and share my story. It is a journey of growth and honesty, and one that I will never stop being grateful for.”
Gibbs released a subsequent video on Tuesday to say he was “truly sorry” for “clocking (Hemsley’s) Tea.” Tiktok’s star acknowledged that she was “hateful” to guess about someone’s sexuality, and yet Gibbs stressed that “did not mean he ended this way.”
“This wasn’t my intention ever out someone like this, but a girl, I’m so happy for you and so proud of you,” he added. “You’re hot and you’re going to live your open, out, gay mama.
