Saturday night live aum Punkie Johnson Responds to the show separating roads with several prominent – and dear – cast members.
“WTF happens… This is like the deceased… my sexual work man… I love you so much… I will call you…” Johnson, 40, wrote in the comments section of Thursday, August 28, Instagram Post announce that Swallow have roads separated with Michael Longfellow After three seasons. “Welcome back outside a baby…. I’ll see you out here soon.”
Johnson – who was on Swallow for four seasons between 2020 and 2024 – appears as surprised as the rest of Us After SNL has announced it has separated roads with several cast members, including Emil Wakim. Heidi Gardner. Devon Walker and Swallow writer Rosebud baker.
“For me, jobs in this industry feel like a bunch of small weddings. Some of em lasting a long time if we’re lucky, but most of them are fleet. Permanently until they’re not.
“I and the show did three years together, and sometimes it was very cool. Sometimes it was toxic as hell. But we did what we did the best of what it was, even in the midst of all the dysfunction. “Anyway, I’m bout to go to Japan. When I arrive back I’m trying to be in a prestigious play. Ideal something with Julianne Moore. Hopefully y’all stay hydrated and get some money today. “
Johnson made comments on Walker’s exit, writing in the Instagram Post Comments section about the comedian’s departure, “Welcome according to Dev. It’s fun outside a baby … love u.”
Johnson also sent good wishes to Gardner, 42, who Leave the show After eight seasons.
“Not ahhhhhh my Heidi,” Johnson wrote in the Instagram Post Comments section dedicated to Gardner, which was shared following the news of her remarkable departure. “This is likely (sic) the greatest surprise of the Heidi ‘shaking’ you are my bright star … you got a great run and I admire everything about you. Congratulations Heidi … You’re a Snl legend for life … See you outside.
Johnson seemed particularly surprised that Wakim, 27, was leaving Swallow After just one season on the show.
Devon Walker leaves Saturday Night Live. The comedian, 34, announced his departure through Instagram on Monday, August 25, posting a selfie in front of a flats screen TV which showed the NBC sketch logo. “I made my baby broke up ❤️,” headed Walker. He had joined SNL as a concerned player in (…)
“You’re a beautiful guy … this is a shock to us all I’m sure,” Johnson wrote in another Instagram post comments section. “We should stand at the doors of 30 rock and act a fool for you… keep your head up baby … let’s play outside .. It’s been fun.”
As for Johnson, the former cast member described leaving her Swallow as a “neutral thing” when appearing on the “Fly on the Wall” podcast.
“By February last season, I was like, Nope, I’ve done,” remembered the comedian at the time. “The season before, I asked her, I spoke to my team, like, I don’t know if I belong in this post, so maybe I should step away. ‘ I told them brilliantly, late, after I found out I would have to go back.
