In terms of veteran leadership and field experience, these programs are in a dead heat. Ohio State and Texas recover nine starters last season. The Longhorns return three offensive players and six defenders, while the Buckeyes recover six offensive collaborators and three defensive players from last year’s list.
The quarterback game will be enormous in this game. Texas has a favorite of the Heisman trophy in Arch Manning, the nephew of Eli and Peyton. In the meantime, the Buckeyes will be based on the first Redshirt student, Julian Sayin, to go out to the weapons that climb at the first start at the collegiate level.
There are also some talented people generating for both plants. #8 Alabama @ Florida State

Last year it could not have been more different for these two programs. In the first season of the post-Nick Saban in Alabama, Crimson Tide still managed to go 9-4 and was looking for a place in the University Football Playoff until they fell in the Oklahoma Sooners 24-3 on November 23. On the other hand, the Seminoles passed by 2-10 and had their percentage of lowest season winner since 1974, when they only won one game.
There should be no concern for Alabama to be competitive. The last time this school ended with a record of loss was in 2003. Even without Nick Saban, Alabama is still one of the most competitive university football programs in the country, as evidenced by the seven players who had written to the team’s NFL last year.
Things may seem a bit different for the ‘Noles of this season. The main coach, Mike Norvell, is in the hot seat, which means that he will train his tail and he will ensure that the state of Florida does not suffer shame similar to last season. That said, if the seminoles start slow, Norvell will be out of work before Halloween.
Alabama has more than double the number of headlines returning to Florida State (14 vs. 6). Crimson Tide is also generally a more talented team than Seminoles, so they will have no problem getting a victory on the road to start their season.

This is not only a more prominent match, but also one of the quarters’ games that we will see the whole season at the collegial level. Cade Klubnik de Clemson and Garrett Nussmeier de LSU have the potential of being the first five draft tropes next April. Getting a flower of rivalry between these two will be a view.
Without a doubt, Clemson will play as a cohesive unit and will be hot. They return to 16 starters again from last season squad. Only the Devils of Sun of Arizona State have more headlines returning to this season. In addition, three of these returning players are broad receivers, which already have the feeling of Cade Klubnik’s trends as a quarterback. Peter Woods and TJ Parker, the best defensive line combination in the country, and tigers should be able to give the LSU problems.
LSU only recovers seven headlines last season, which is worrying for a game of this magnitude on the road in one of the most hostile stages in the country. While their returning players are very skilled, the only holder on the offensive line that was on the team last season is the DJ Chester in the center, who could fight Parker and Woods.
Wait for Clemson’s defense to havoc on a LSU team that has four new headlines along the offensive line. Although LSU’s defense manages to contain Cade Klubnik, I don’t think his offense can make him a lot on the road.

#6 Notre Dame vs. #10 miami

With the regular NFL season from next week, we get the rare opportunity to see significant university football on a Sunday. Notre Dame wants to return to the University Football Playoff and this trip begins with a road game against the Hurricanes of Miami.
Fighting the Irish of Jeremiyah Love will be the engine that makes Notre Dame Vagi’s offense. After scoring 17 touchdowns on the field last year, the preseason all-American will want to take advantage of this production this year. This task will be easier as the Irish fighting has three headlines returning along the offensive line.
The hurricanes lost a lot of talent against the NFL. Last year’s initial quarterback, Cam Ward, was the number 1 global team in the 2025 project. In addition, Miami no longer has its two best receivers and its number 1 that goes back last season. Although they have five headlines returning to the defensive side of the ball, it may not be enough to raise a 69th unit at permitted points per game last year (25.3).
Notre Dame’s specialty last year was the defense, where they finished fourth in the country in points per allowed game (15.5).
