“He was really lively and hurt,” he told People at the time. “I immediately went to my GP and told me I had to go and look at it right away. But the problem was I couldn’t get an appointment. Everything was ordered. So I had to wait until the end of November to do that.”
Mamogram and three biopsy confirmed her diagnosis.
Eggert in a video shared through Instagram revealed that her body had a “full full response” to chemotherapy in July 2024.
“There is no detectable cancer in that area, and I have the green light to proceed and schedule surgery,” he told his followers. “This will be mastectomy and rebuilding, and this will be a whole journey on its own, but it worked. It worked.”
Eggert shared another update on her cancer battle Months later with Weekly US.
