As a result of the incident, Ellis has received “psychological and medical treatment,” by court docs obtained by Today.com of the legal case of 2020.
Cardi, however, has denied Ellis’s allegations mercilessly, claiming she had only an oral rebellion with the Security Officer.
What did Cardi B say as she testified in her trial?
According to Social Media videos of Cardi’s evidence on August 26, 2025, Ellis was the stimulant, claiming she followed her down a hallway as she arrived at the doctor’s office for an appointment.
The performer faced the security guard after noticing that Ellis appeared to try to record him during the visit, asking why she was following her and trying to sneak photos, and he allegedly answered, “Because I can,” and Cardi replied to him, “No, you can’t.”
During cross -examination, Cardi claimed to stand a “chest to chest” and she yelled, “b ****, get y *** out of my face.”
“We are literally screaming at each other,” Cardi claimed further, claiming that line never crossed. “I didn’t touch it. It was like an oral fight, but it didn’t become physically at all.”
The former security guard proposed a different side to the story, testifying in court on August 25, 2025, that it was exciting after seeing Cardi coming off an office lift, and said, “Wow, it’s Cardi B” before things took a turn for the worst.
Ellis claimed she tried to reassure Cardi that she was not telling anyone about her visit, per Courttv.
