The actor opened, 48, for throwing 52 lbs for his upcoming role The cutSharing on the episode of Wednesday, August 27, this morning he went to a nutritionist to help them slim down.
Cohosts Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson asked how he “controlled” to get so trim, and Bloom answered honestly, “I wouldn’t recommend anyone at home, it’s not something to take lightly.”
The Box Office star added, “I had a great nutritionist. I was recommended by one of my agents who worked with Christian Bale on a few things, so he was checking my blood and things.”

To hit his goals, his nutritionist had blossomed to going from eating breakfast, lunch and supper, for one significant meal a day only. “Basically, he put me down from three meals a day for two, to one. Suddenly, all these foods were removed from me, and my protein powder was the last one,” he explained. “I was like that! Don’t take that one. ‘ Then basically came down to (eat) only tuna and cucumber for the past three weeks.
Bloom also opened for the lack of food that affected him, sharing that he had “no energy or brain power.”
“Mentally, physically, I was hanging,” he said, noting that they had filmed the film in chronological order to Document his body’s transition. “I was a horrific person to be around. The Paranoia, the intrusive thoughts. We’re supposed to eat and sleep and care for ourselves. It’s actually a commentary on the lengths that a person is going to get that second shot. I think that’s so transferable,” he added.
