Solskjaer looted after Besiktas leaves

The ex -Manchester United director Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked by the Besiktas Turkish club after they crashed from the conference’s league.

Solskjaer brought Istanbul side to a fourth place last season.

But a house defeat by 1-0 from the Lausanian Swiss side meant that the club would not play European football this season and the club fired Norwegian after the game.

Other favorites, included Az Alkmaar, Fiorentina, Rayo Vallecano and Mainz, crossed as Strasburg kept in Win in Brondby.

In Istanbul, English striker Nathan Butler-Oyedeji scored the only goal in the first added time, as Lausanne bothered Besiktas.

The home team played the second half with 10 men after the defender Felix Udukhai was sent in the 46th minute for a free kick to Brandon Sopopy.

The club then published a statement saying they had held an emergency meeting.

“Our contract with the main coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has been terminated as a result of the decision made during the meeting of the Council. Our President Serdal Adali expressed his gratitude to Solskjaer for his services.”

Solskjaer, former Manchester United, Cardiff City and Molde Boss, were hired in January this year and raised Besiktas from sixth to fourth place in Super LIG. His team had won his only league game so far this season.
