August was a particularly great month for movie lovers, with Oscar -winning films arriving alongside fan favorites.

Amazingly, this list has two very different boxing films at number 1 and number 2 and Amazon’s first appearance of a film from one of the famous sci-fi franchises of the 20th century studios.
5. ‘The Kingdom of the Apes’ (2024)

That’s why Scorsese spent a great deal of time on this adjustment of boxer Jake LamottaThe story of life. Robert De Niro Played Jake, and won his well -deserved Oscar performance for him for the best actor.
The film starts early in Jake’s career and chronicles its rise to the top. He also depicts Jake’s quick descent after making many bad life choices. This film is considered a cinematic masterpiece, and its inheritance is safe.

2. ‘No country for old men’ (2007)

Joel and Ethan Coen made a lot of great movies together but none more than their adaptation won an Oscar of Cormac McCarthy ‘s No country for old men. Josh Brolin Stars like Llewelyn Moss, an ordinary man who possesses a wonderful amount of money from a drug deal has gone bad. He should have known that someone would come to look for him, but Llewelyn is fully prepared to deal with Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), one of the most memorable villains of the 21st Century.
Chigurh has a cruel streak and trend to murder his victims with a strict bolt pistol typically used to kill cattle. Llewelyn is not just giving up the money, and is after the aging sheriff, Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones), to make sense out of the violence they leave.

Apollo Creed had no children in the original Rocky movies, and yet the default for Fund Compare perfectly with the basic themes of the franchise of rising from nothing. Michael B. Jordan Stepping into the role of the title as Adonis “Donnie” Creed, the illegal son of Apollo, who never knew his father before he passed. The weight of that inheritance is much for Donnie to treat when following in his father’s footsteps, especially without a corner man he can trust.
Amazon Prime Video does not take a break as summer ends and school starts back up again. The Streamer has lined up a great slate of past and present TV shows and films that make it difficult for most subscribers to resist.
