The highest bridge in the world completes the main load test

The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in China has undergone a five -day test process before the scheduled opening in late September.

The load test is the last step before it is considered safe for greeting traffic. The testing team raised 96 trucks to the designated points to check the structural integrity of the bridge.

The ascending 625 meters above the Guizhou province, the completion bridge set a record for both the highest bridge in the world and for the largest span built in the mountainous area.
