In one of the most electrifying clashes of the Cariba Premier League (CPL) 2025Saint Lucia Kings got a sensational four -wicket victory, pursuing a nasty 203 goal to give Guyana Amazon Warriors his first defeat of the season. The hero of the night was undoubtedly Ackeem Auguste, the 73 ball of 35 balls established the tone for a chase of mammoths.
Opting first for Bat, the warriors endured a trembling start. Ben McDermott and Kevlon Anderson fell quickly and when Shimron Hetmyyer finished after a combination, the score read a precarious 47/4. The entrances needed a savior, and the shepherd of Romario was spectacularly delivered.
Walking purposefully, Shepherd broke his first installment by six and never looked back. His brutal hit took 15th place, where 33 runs left Oshane Thomas: three six, four and three balls without. Shepherd arrived at 50 just 19 balls, the second fastest of the season and, next to Iftikhar Ahmed, pushed the Warriors to 107 runs on the last six surfaces, Ending in a formidable 203/7.
Chasing a mountain, the kings responded with intent. Johnson Charles’s first limits gave them a good start, but it was Ackeem Auguste who stole the program. Initially cautious, the young left left soon exploded, dismantling the warriors’ bowls, especially demolishing Imran Tahir with six and three consecutive four.

The half -century of Auguste reached only 19 balls, equalizing the fastest of the tournament. His 87 -track stand with Tim Seifert established the platform, and despite a lost opportunity just after Seifert’s dismissal, Auguste continued to dominate until he fell with the kings who needed 31 of 37 balls.
With Auguste and Roston Chase Gone, a Wobble seemed possible, but Tim David and Aaron Jones noticed the persecution with crucial contributions. Although they both fell near the end, David Wiese increased to finish the job, reaching the winning limit with 11 balls to save.
