The recent expedition of Wbo champion, Keyshawn Davis, has requested that the sanctioning body be installed as a contestant number 1 to 140 for the title of Light Heavy Weight of Theophimo Lopez.

Keyshawn’s WBO handed a ranking number 1 for Light Welterweight after losing weight and being stripped of its light title will not be well with fans. It would be like rewarding Davis for failure.

The challenge of spreading the maximum rank

Currently, Top Rank’s Davis promoters do not have a dissemination platform to fight after their contract with ESPN expired with their last event on July 26, 2025. The calendar is not ideal for Keyshawn to be given the number 1 position for the highest contestant of Theophimo at 140.
