So you were born in Brooklyn, as you said but had been raised in Maryland, no? In a suburb, one of the planned prime communities in the United States.
Wow. Sliced deep.
Mom was German, Dad was Armenian.
Yep.
Talk to me a little about your childhood. How was informed where you are today?
So I was born in Brooklyn. We lived in Ridgewood, queen, for a minute here-
Ridgewood is hot right now.
It was not in the 90s but I will leave my father.
My mother was a pair that exceeded his visa because it was in love with my father. Ice-glacy was not here to deport it. In the end, they have married and took a green card, but mother was undocumented then for some little bit. And my father has been american, but to armenian parents, earnings of the genoid. This had a big enough impact on me.
Mum who worked withdrawn spars, but was infinely a pharmacy untrimbed technician in Maryland. She had come and she has a GED, but it was his highest level of education. And then my father was a travel agent, that was a career in the years ’80.
He started to do that in Baltimore, so we have moved when I had 6 or 7. I had aunt and cousins in the city, and I was very jealous of New York had been. But it’s over being a good childhood. The good schools, and I could hook up with my friends every single bicycle days around the burbs.
