Australia states that Iran’s ambassador claims that the country’s government has directed anti -Semitic attacks in Sydney and Melbourne.
Prime Minister Anthony Albonez said the attacks were “extraordinary and dangerous acts of aggression organized by a foreign nation.” No one was injured in the attacks that happened last year.
The head of the Australian Security Organization (ASIO) Mike Burgez said his agency had intelligence that Iran was “probably” for greater attacks on Jewish targets in Australia incidents.
Ambassador Ahmad Sadeh and three other Iranian officials were ordered to leave Australia for seven days. Iran has not yet commented on the allegations.
Burgese said, “Iran sought to disguise his involvement, but ASIO estimates that he is behind the attack on the continental Lewis cuisine in Sydney on October 20 last year, and The Synagogue Adas Israel in Melbourne on December 6 ”.
Foreign Minister Penni Wong said that for the first time after World War II, Australia had sent the ambassador.
Wong said Australia would continue to support some diplomatic lines with Tehran, but rejected the Operations at the Iran’s Embassy for staff security.
She also urged the Australians not to go to Iran and urged any citizens in the country to leave now when it is safe.
Albanese said his government would also appoint an Islamic Revolutionary Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
