President Donald Trump threatened to accommodate troops in the Baltimore, growing collision with Governor Maryland Wes Moore after the Democrat invited him to join the “walking walk” in the city.
“If Wes Moore needs help, as Gavin Newscum did in Los -Angeles, I will send” troops “held in the neighboring DC and quickly clean the crime,” Trump wrote on social media.
The remarks note the last point of the outbreak in the efforts of the President to deploy the National Guard troops in cities under the leadership of the Democrats within what he calls repression on the crime.
The use of the military for internal law enforcement bodies has caused a rigid reaction with the Democrats. One governor described it as “abuse of power”.
In the coming weeks, 1700 national guards are expected to be mobilized in 19 states in the coming weeks.
The governor of Moore, a frequent critic of the President’s strategy, said Trump’s comments about the crime “come out as the same way, so deaf and so inexperienced.”
“This is because they did not walk through our streets,” Moore said. “They were not in our communities, and they are more than glad to continue to do these repeated trails about us.”
Trump’s social comments on Sunday Social Comments turned out to be a direct response Invitation letter to masonry to Trump Which president called “unpleasant” and “provocative”.
“As a president, I would prefer to clear this criminal disaster before going there for a” walk “,” Trump wrote.
Trump has already launched about 2000 troops in Washington, a democratic support. The White House states that hundreds of arrests have been made from the beginning of the operation.
Speaking at the White House’s oval office on Friday, Trump said the mission had brought Washington “full security”.
“DC was hell,” he said. “But it’s safe now.”
On Friday, the Pentagon confirmed that the troops previously located in the US capital would start transporting weapons.
Those troops – which were sent to Washington, several states under the leadership of the Republicans – have not yet participated in law enforcement. Instead, they were located near the local attractions.

They continue to fall, according to preliminary data for 2025.
This year, the violent crime decreased by 26% compared to the same item in 2024, and the robbery decreased by 28%, MPDC reports.
Trump suggested that he would also deploy troops in New York and Chicago.
This escalation led to the condemnation of the leaders of the Democrats of other states and cities, including the governor of Illinois. B. Packer, who said that Trump’s threats to accommodate troops in Chicago is the abuse of power.
The minority leader of the Democratic House of Hockey Jeffreis also weighed, claiming that Trump lacks legal powers to send troops to cities such as Baltimore and Chicago.
He said the president exploited the reduced crime rate – as “the smallest murders in Baltimore for more than 50 years” – to make the crisis.
A survey conducted by the Washington Post and Schar School, published earlier this week, found that the deployment is deeply unpopular with the residents of the city, nearly 80% stated that they would oppose both the deployment of federal officers and the national guard, as well as the absorption of the capital’s police department.
