Substitute Hamza Igamane refuses to come as trouble for Rangers Cap, Russell Martin,

The head under the pressure of Rangers, Russell Martin, stated that striker Hamza Igamane refused to appear as a substitute for the 1-1 tie in St Mirren this afternoon.

Martin’s men went back to the 32nd minute goal from Jonah Ayunga in Paisley, and the former head of Southampton headed to his bench to try to find a level.

Igamane was his favorite option, but the Moroccan said he was injured and couldn’t play.

The teenager Findlay Curtis fired on an equalization with 12 minutes, but Rangers could not take a winner, as they fell to the worst start to a domestic season in 36 years.

Martin, who is pressure at Ibrox after the defeat of the week at home for the Brugge Club in the Champions League, asked about his substitutions and quickly emphasized the behavior of Igamane.

He told Sky Sports: “Hamza told me he was injured.

“This week we made an offer for Hamza, we rejected it, everything was fine, to train -well yesterday, he warmed up well.

“I turned to him at 60 minutes because I wanted two forwards on the pitch.

“And Hamza told me he was injured.”

MARTIN RANGERS AGAIN OUT OF TYPE

Martin was not impressed with his team’s sample on the SMISA Stadium with Rangers, which was now in the seventh place in the Premier Scottish, six points behind the rivals of the Celtic rivals.

“We do not start well enough, not enough energy and intensity. The ball cannot leave us behind us like this two V, it is impossible,” he added.

“It is much easier when you show the courage to take the ball and paste -you are on the ball.

“There is too much tension, there is not enough courage with the ball, so we have to fight more than we should do without the ball. It’s nothing new.

“In the second half we end up strongly and thought we would continue to win the game, but we do not.

“We will work it, we will get feedback from the players.

“Normally eight weeks, you have two or three games. We have to learn quickly. All dynamics can change at the end of next week.

“Perspective is really important.

“There are some areas we seek to strengthen, but I don’t think there is anything imminent.”
