Grealish reveals that Brighton Win was the first time he played with Ndiaye as Duo Everton Inspire ‘Massive’ First Win on Hill Dickinson Stadium

Jack Grealish revealed that he had never played with Iliman Ndiaye in training before the 2-0 victory over Brighton, where the duo inspired the Toffees to a victory in his first game at his new stadium.

The Hill Dickinson stadium opened in style, as the Manchester City loan signing signed Grealish Ndiaye for the first goal before leaving James Garner for a second, as they won the 2-0 winners.

Everton fans will have been excited to see the duo by combining what they expect to be a successful season in their new Dock Bramley Moor home.

Speaking to Sky Sports about victory, Grealish said, “He was massive. First game at the New Stadium and we wanted to make a program for the followers. Very happy to win.

“It’s massive. I loved my time in Man City and I was about four great years there and won a lot. As soon as I talked to David Moyes at Facetime, I wanted to come here and today it shows why.

“I said yesterday that the manager had not played us (Iliman ndiaye) together in the training. Today is the first time.”

Moyes Hope Grealish and Ndiaye can be inspired by Everton-Shy to the target

Manager David Moyes said about the duo: “We will see how they play and if their performances are good. Jack has a couple of assists today and Iliman has a goal.

“We need to set more goals. Something I don’t want to lose is the spirit on the pitch. We want more taste and quality.”

Pickford Revents in Perfect Start in New Stadium

A victory and a clean sheet represents a perfect start to his new ground, especially after Jordan Pickford was in his hand to save a Danny Welbeck late in the game.

The goalkeeper of England said, “It’s amazing, the fans are always behind us, either at home or at home, we have great support and we can’t thank them enough.

“It’s about leaving them happy at home we’ve done today. It’s a start and we want to continue to build an impulse in this place and be resistant, so this is what we will try to do.”

Hurzeler: Brighton was better team

Things could have come out very differently if Brighton had taken several opportunities, with Koaru Mitoma and Danny Welbeck near before the opening before the striker was lost.

The head of Seagulls said, “I think, in general, we were the best team, we created better possibilities, but in the end football is to score and keep sheets clean.

“We have not commissioned the small actions and the small elements of the game and this is how it is lost.

“We had a similar situation in the last game where we had possibilities and we have to be more dismissed. Each player wants to score and a goal always helps.

“At some point we did not defend well when we awarded the goals. We did not take care of the launches at some moments of the party.

“We can improve and we have to focus. We have enough possibilities to win the game.”
