The statement must also be displayed noticeable on the university’s website, and any controversial statements must be deleted, according to the proposed resolution.

The university must agree to revise any policies and documents used in its call, hiring, promotion and process of position, and must delete any provisions that require or encourage the use of race as a factor in these practices.

The federal government also said George Mason should carry out annual training for those involved in these practices to confirm that this would not give benefits based on race.
