UPDATE – 12/18/24, 5:29 pm ET: After a reporter claimed that Diddy looked “thinner” at his latest court appearance, says an insider Us Weekly that he is doing well.
Diddy is “fit, healthy and fully focused on his defense,” the source confirms Us. “He has been very active, remains in good spirits, and, as always, was happy to see his children.”
After the rapper’s court appearance on Wednesday, Law and Crime reporter Elizabeth Miller He said “he appeared surprisingly thinner, which you can expect (since he’s been) inside a federal detention center for a few months now.”
He added: “Much different to the luxurious lifestyle he was living before, but (he) seemed noticeably thinner and maybe being locked up in custody was starting to weigh on him. “

Sean “Diddy” Combs appeared in court on Wednesday, December 18, where a federal judge warned against any “surprises” in the upcoming trial.
Diddy, 55, and his legal counsel appeared in federal court for a status conference, according to People. Judge Arun Subramanian request that any updates to the proposal schedule be set by January 3, 2025 to “avoid any kind of last-minute surprise.”
Diddy is scheduled to next appear in court on March 17, 2025.
Diddy was indicted by a grand jury in September just before that is arrested for sex-trafficking, racing, conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. A 14-page indictment – alleged that Diddy “abused, threatened and coerced women and others around him” for decades.
Diddy denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty to the charges. The disgraced music mogul was was remanded to the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center and denied bail on four different offers.
“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs from the United States Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Mark Agnifilo say Us Weekly in September. “Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community . He’s an imperfect person, but he’s not a criminal.”
The statement continued, “To his credit, Mr. Combs is only cooperating with this investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve judgment until you have all the facts. These are the actions of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
Diddy dropped his latest bail application earlier this month. According to court documents filed on Friday, December 13, Diddy voluntarily dropped his appeal and will remain at MDC until his trial. The trial is expected to begin in May 2025.

“He’s been lining up character witnesses and people who can speak for him,” the insider said. “This is the hardest time in Diddy’s life, but he’s not giving up on himself.”
