Jace did not follow on his threats, or file a report against the Teen Mother 2 star, per Tmz. However, the announcement reports that Evans based her son following the incident, which added to recent tensions between the pair.

The texts were divided into three Instagram grid posts and were detailed an alleged replacement between Jace and his former Stepdad Eason, 37, as well as custody over the teenager. (In September 2023, Jace accused Eason of assault. Tmz reported at the time that Eason had received a Misbehavior charge of child abuse following the allegations.)

Evans respond to the text leakage By telling her followers on Wednesday, August 20, she “disciplined” Jace over the incident.
“While it hurts to see those moments being shared publicly, I know it comes from a place of fighting,” he wrote through his Instagram story. “The steering of the various Medical Diagnosis of Jace has not been easy, but I have never stopped fighting to make sure it has the resources, love and support it needs.”
Evans further claimed that Jace had recently run in with law enforcement that made their home life more active.
“Recently he has also been in trouble with the law over the past few months and is having a hard time adapting to the rules set before him,” Evans continued. “I’ve been trying everything to help them navigate it but we’re butting heads in the process. Give us a grace at this time. This is difficult for all of us.”
