“If Tracker ever wants a partner (for Justin’s character, Colter), Julian may be leaving the company and starts a new life,” Ritter’s joking, 45, during a unique interview with Weekly US In promoting his upcoming host meat Arts Festival ‘California Dreamin’: Benefit for the Arts on Saturday, August 23. “Only two rough men.”
Ritter noted that Julian’s season 2 version is very different from When viewers first met him.
“Julian was in the middle of a divorce, but he was going through his life with his skeletons safely in his cupboard. Now, with the relationship coming out – and then with the other big reveal coming out – it’s in a new boat,” he teased. “There is no excuse with Olympia (his ex-wife). Or share and put (things) away in a dark and shameful drawer.”
The fan favorite character will have to face his mistakes when Matloc Return. “Julian is going to have to tackle – one way or another – with this. It’s so shameful that he has just given it away, tried to be a good father and focus on his family,” explained Ritter. “Now, he is addressing the implications of what he did. He is also shocked.”
Matlock, who first performed in September 2024, Following a wealthy solicitor retired called Madeline Kingston (Kathy Bates), who pretends to be a bad widow named Matty Matlock to get a job in the legal company of Jacobson Moore. The first season revealed that Julian responsible for hiding The documents that would have removed opioids from the streets sooner. Julian’s mistake was only revealed to Olympia (Skye P. Marshall), so it remains unclear whether Olympia will tell Matty or defend Julian for their family’s sake.
“It’s a very, very fun and exciting season,” Ritter teased. “The first season I was basically sat back and watched and loved the process. I trusted (Creator) Jennie (Urman Cheats) and the writers. That’s how I feel this season too. They have a plan and I don’t want to make a mess of my ideas. “
Ritter loves how the story of Season 2 Arc push him as an actor.
“They’ve already taken it for some different references,” he shared. “I’ve had to show other sides (for Julian) and it’s been a lot of fun so far. We’re only at first, so I can’t wait to see what they have in progress for me later.”
In the midst of production at the season 2 of the award -winning series, Ritter takes a hoe to maintain the Fine Arts Fine Arts Show on Saturdays at Laguna Beach. The event includes a concert by Jack Mack and The Heart Attack before Ritter presented a special presentation of the Masters’ 2025 pass.
“This opportunity came to exist because Joe Mantegna-I loved him very dear-invited all to go to this event 20 years ago. It was so lovely to think and such an unforgettable experience. Somehow I haven’t been back since,” Ritter noted. “Joe asked if I would love to host and it was an excuse to be seen again. I can’t wait to watch these paintings come to life. It feels like one of the most surreal things I’ve ever seen alive. It’s very, very beautiful and the size of the work that goes into it is amazing. It’s perfect for anyone down in Laguna and looking for a beautiful moment.”
The special evening is perfect for art fans – and those looking to learn more about the medium.
“They will have this beautifully painted background and then the actors will step on these steps. They will be painted so that it looks two dimensions of the audience angle. It looks like a painting,” Ritter told us. “Suddenly – at the same time – they’re all coming to life. It’s so magical. It’s a very effective optical illusion. It’s all different art styles, too. There are sculptures and paintings, but the talent level of the artists and the discipline of the actors who can stand so incredibly is amazing.”
Just before the show, Ritter will compile the winning ticket for Ultra Motor Twin Motor 2025 Volvo EX30 brand new (or $ 10,000 cash instead of car), which is visitors still be able to purchase raffle tickets for with $ 5 for one ticket or $ 20 for five tickets.
