Gets the imageJapan McDonald’s postponed ad from the children’s menu after complaints that the recent Pokémon distribution has led to a bunch of food and the cards were sold for profits.
Fast food giant said on Thursday that his cooperation with the popular Manga with Pirate Theme “One Piece” would not work now.
Earlier this month, McDonald’s distribution with a limited Pokémon circulation with their “happy sets” led to long queues and buying.
Photos shared on the Internet showed food bags, dumped outside, and complaints that the cards were sold on the Internet for profit. It is planned that the distribution has lasted for three days, but many outlets ended at the first.
In her statement on her website, McDonald’s Japan said she “postponed” the One Piece action, which was supposed to start on August 29 as part of a “review of happy initiatives.”
Customers are now receiving toys that have accompanied the previous Happy Set food, the company reports.
Japanese consumer agency reported that McDonald’s should improve its sales strategy and take improving food loss.
One Piece is a perennial comic book series and an animated program in which a pirated boy fights rivals, looking for a treasure known as “one piece”. The comics were launched in 1997, and the cartoon came in two years.
A few related games and toys are very popular in Japan.

After Pokémon Debala, Japan McDonald’s gave a public apology and promised to take measures to prevent similar problems in the future.
Pokémon cards are very popular with children, but also attract adult fans and collectors, with billions, and some sell tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars.
One of the maps from a recent action presented by a popular Pikachu character, currently entered on one online auction -beyond over 25,000 pounds (33,000 dollars).
Last week, McDonald’s told local media that she considered his distributions after Pokémon led to “large -scale purchases for resale, leaving the store or food left behind and dropped.”
It states that this stops the share and will impose a hat on the number of happy dishes that customers can buy.
