New York’s Yankees won the nine ransoms at home 13-3 on the Tampa Bay Rays yesterday, making them the first team of the MLB to have several games in a single season with nine or more at home. The Yanks previously performed this feat against the Milwaukee Brewers on March 29, 2025.
“Do -twice. This is notable” said Yankees manager Aaron Boone after victory. “Only a truly impressive offensive show against a team that obviously is not always easy to score against.”
The Yankees started starting with Cody Bellinger’s house, Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton at the first post to give them a 3-0 advantage.
“It was awesome to see” said Stanton during a postgame interview. “I think we have reached nine tonight. It’s amazing through the table.”
The Yankees attack continued until the second post when José Caballero struck a two-part Homer to extend the leadership to 5-0.
“Yes, it’s special” Caballero told journalists after the game. “That’s why they are the Bronx bombers … who happen to these boys (Judge and Stanton), something must be contagious.”
The rays would get two, but Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit a Homer in the third post to achieve leadership at 6-2. In the next entrance, Stanton won a three-way home, followed by a Homer from the first well-rice basketball to increase the advantage to 10-2.
“I think we were all ready to go at 7:30 and it did not happen,” Stanton said as he discussed the rain delay that started the game last night. “So, we had to get them out a little.”
Cody Bellinger and José Caballero would each hit one more work at home, bringing the output of the Yankees score to 13.
“I mean, many good changes, obviously,” said Aaron Boone. “You are just cheering.
“We have a very good offense”, Cody Bellinger told journalists during a postgame interview. “I think, ebbs and flows of a season of 162 games, right? It will not always be beautiful, but we all believe in each other, and the talent is. We are doing a good job to combine everything and it is fun to be part.”
The Yankees will be back in Tampa taking the rays while looking for their fifth consecutive victory. The first field of this game is scheduled for 19:35 EDT.
