Zeta-Jones told The Times That she and Douglas appreciate the quiet time they can spend in their estate in Spain, away from Hollywood’s magnifying glass.
“Two celebrities together do 10. Just the way it is. There are two versions of the story and two do to believe,” he said for steering the magnifying glass as a couple. “We don’t listen to the crap written about us, that’s the main thing. And we respect our space, we’re independent spirits. We’re very similar; we’re born on the same day, 25 years apart. We’re not afraid to be verbal, to express ourselves.

“It was very uncomfortable sharing the house in S’estaca with my ex-wife, Dangla,” said Douglas Last hour In August 2021. “Not all of us were desirable for anyone. Now that everything was settled and that the house was 100 percent of ours, Catherine’s and mine, I can say that I never wanted to leave.”
The Spanish home of the pair was briefly placed on the market in 2019. To promote the listing, Douglas reported a shared video through the Billions luxury Gateway account highlighting the rich history and scenic scenery of the property.
“Many of my friends have stayed in S’estaca, and we have enjoyed wonderful times here together,” he said. “S’estaca has his own groves and his own vineyard, and naturally there is a fine cellar to store the award -winning wine.”
Douglas continued, “Over the past 30 years, I have put my own mark in the place, modernizing and redecorating the old buildings built by the Archbishop.
Eventually, Douglas and Zeta-Jones removed the property from the market in 2020.
“I love returning to Mallorca. I’ve been coming here for over 30 years and have learned over time, ‘happy wife, happy life,’” said Douglas Last hour. “My wife Catherine is very happy here; even more so now we no longer share the house with my first wife, Diandra. She feels a lot more comfortable now. She decorates the house her way. That makes me happy, seeing her really happy here, at home and with our friends.”
Douglas also said that the Mallorca estate held a special place in the hearts of his children and grandparents.
“My children will continue to come, and my grandchildren and their children,” he said. “I’m sure this island will own them for generations to come. This house is the family of my family, and will continue to be. Cameron, Dylan and Carys love it. My daughter speaks the perfect Spanish.”
Douglas and Zeta-Jones bought at home in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, Canada, in 2005. The property was perfect for the couple, considering their love of skiing and documenting their snow adventures with their children.
“They like the climate, they like the culture and proximity to Bermuda,” said their then Realtor, Michael Clark, The world and the post.
