4 ignored Harry Potter Stories that can save the upcoming TV show

While I am only a casual fan of the franchise, I have found myself strangely excited in hope and Harry Potter TV show. As well as some fun casting options (Nick Frost like Hagrid and John Lithgow as Dumbledore are both inspired by an inspired spit), the show has the opportunity to adjust forgotten plotlines from the books that never made them in the original films.

These are the best ignored Harry Potter stories that must be included in the new TV show.

Hermione advocates for elf rights

Clearly Hermione has a vast role in the Harry Potter Movies, but those movies omitted one of its key plots of the books. Ultimately, it becomes very concerned about the condition of house elves such as Dobby and creates the society for promoting the well -being of Elvish. She does this in the Goblet of fire a book, and by The order of the PhoenixShe had taken to knit and hide clothes, hoping that the elves would find the clothes and be released from their slavery.

It’s a great character building plot for Hermione, emphasizing that its big brain corresponds to an equally large heart. Of course, the TV show could retreat from this plot as the films did because it underlined that almost everyone is in the magical community but Hermione, perfectly cool depends on slave labor.

The origin of the marauder map

In Harry Potter’s films, the Marauder map is eventually given to the main title character. It’s a gift from Prank -loving Ron Weasley brothers, and helps Harry to see where everyone is always in Hogwarts. Mechanically, this helps Harry sneak around whenever he needs to, and can hide the magical abilities of the map with two simple words: “decline is controlled.”

Oddly enough, the films never go into the form of who created the map in the first place. The Marauders in question (identified in the films only such as Mony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs) were Sirius Black, Remus Lupine, Peter Pettigrew, and James Potter. Lupine was a wolf -wen, and the others transformed themselves into animals to keep him company when he was transformed. The dear names on the map were actually loving references to their animal forms.

Neville Longbottom, one chosen one?

In the movies, Neville Longbottom is mainly treated as a walking punch line. Although still a very funny figure in the books, those texts eventually revealed a stunning secret. Neville seems to have come near crazy to be the chosen one that was supposed to defeat Voldemort once and for all!

Professor Trelawney’s prophecy for the one chosen does not specifically name Harry: Instead, she predicts that this person of fate will be born almost late July for parents who had challenged Voldemort three times. Harry fits the bill, but so does Neville, and ironically the one chosen after Voldemort tried to kill him; This left Harry with his iconic scar, and another aspect of the prophecy is that the boy will be identified as equal to the bad guy.

In this way, he chose Voldemort in effect that would eventually destroy it. But if he had chosen differently, Neville Longbottom might have become a boy who saved the world.

Rita Skeeter’s big secret

Rita Skeeter is an annoying Snoop for a journalist, and Harry Potter’s films effectively portray how strange and unpleasant it really is. One thing that left the films out, though, is how he got the scoop on every dirty little detail around Hogwarts. As it happens, she (as her name suggests) could transform herself into mosquito because of her powers like animagus.

While it would be neatly to see this transformation in the TV show, what I would really like to see is how she is getting her arrival. In the books, Hermione actually seizes Rita in the form of a mosquito, trapping her in a jar that can not be broken and promised to release her only if she keeps her terrible judgment for herself for one whole year. It’s always fun to see the bad guys get what comes to them (ask the Legion of Dolores Umbridge Haters), but it’s more fun even when it’s Harry’s friends helping to pull the trash.
