The third delivery of the 14th over from Hasnain was short and outside off, tempting Ashton Agar to make an aggressive ball over the infield. Placed at mid-on, Warner read the shot impeccably, tracking the ball as it soared into the air. Sydney Thunder dominate Perth Scorchers with a comprehensive 61-run win
The Thunder recorded a imposing a 61-run win over Scorchers in the 33rd match of BBL 2024-25 at Sydney Showground Stadium. Batting first, the Thunder posted a competitive 158/7, thanks to a steady 53 from Constas himself and an unbeaten 37 off 13 balls for the player of the match Tom Andrews. The Scorchers bowling was led by Lance Morriswhich claimed 3/43 but proved expensive.
In reply, the Scorchers collapsed to 97 all out in 17.2 overs, unable to counter the Thunder’s disciplined attack.
