Nick Ball (23-0-1, 13 kos) called Naoya Inoue on Saturday night, after his successful defense of the WBA feather title against Sam Goodman (20-1, 8 kos) in the Anb Arena de Riyadh
It was not the kind of performance that would give any belief that it would have a chance to beat “The monster” inoue or even deserves to be in front of the king of the Japanese superstar.
“Yes, definitely. It has been talked about a lot so that it does not happen. Everyone wants it. So we do -Reality,” Nick Ball said to Queensberry about wanting to fight against Naoya Inoue after the victory over Sam Goodman on Saturday night.
The dance victory over Goodman was not clear and could have easily marked a draw. Many social media fans marked the struggle as a draw, as I did. Goodman beat the ball in six of the twelve rounds. This should have given rise to the struggle to be a tie in 12 rounds.
The scores were 115-113, 118-110 and 117-111. These scores did not reflect the struggle that took place tonight, as Goodman used his punching body and close range fighting to dominate the ball of 5’2. ” did not happen.
Bruce Carrington calls “food” ball
WBC Interim Feather Champion Bruce Carrington published a message on social media in reaction to dance performance, labeling “food”. He saw the same weakness that we all did in him, and he is damaging, wanting to have the opportunity to fight him. Carrington had been with the WBA for more than a year and was ignored for dance. After this night’s performance for him, you can see why.
