Barstool Ellie Schnitt sports alum select sides while calling Daddy’s play

Influencer and podcaster Ellie’s cut offers a new insight into its short tenure at Barstool Sports – including working alongside former -Besties Alex Cooper and Sofia Franklyn.

“It feels very good when people I’ve met and had very positive experiences with them doing very well,” explains Schnitt. “Like, I met Hannah Berner In 2018 (a) she is a grinder and a hard worker. Watching her put that work in and seeing success out of it, it feels really good because there are people where I am like, ‘I don’t know if you deserve what you have.’ “

Schnitt, who now maintains her own “Late Night Drive” podcast, was employed to work at Barstool Sports, the media company founded by Dave PortnoyShortly after she graduated from college.

“I had never been a person who thought very much about my career,” Schnitt said on Friday. “I never did (I have a plan of life). Part of it, of course, knew I would have to take six months away at some point because I would need (I’d need) a kidney transplant.”

He added, “I took it, and then (there was) a moment where I was like, ‘Okay, I could do this. I’m good at this.’ I didn’t really stop to consider, and, of course, you’re not when you’re 22, (whether I like this. Is this what long -term will make me happy or is this exactly what I’m doing in 22?

“It’s, like, you’re thrown into fire and you have to find things,” he said.

Eventually, Schnitt left the media company in September 2020.

“I’m proud of the work I did and grateful to the Coworkers who helped me grow over the last two years, but now I’m really for a new challenge,” he wrote in a social media statement. “Thank you to everyone who listened to ‘Schnitt Talk’ and in particular thanks to Alanna for all the work you did to make the show a fun success.”
