The heavy contestant Philip Hrgovic (19-1, 14 kos) administered a pure defeat to bad overflow David Adeleye (14-2, 13 kos), winning a large unanimous decision of ten rounds on Saturday night at Anb Arena de Riad, Saudi Arabia.
Hrgovic had Adeleye in Ronda Eight of his right hand on his head. When Adeleye turned, he hooked his tongue to Hrgovic and went after him with a powerful hut that made him near. It is difficult to know -as those firing of the British fighter Adeleye did.
The scores were 99-91, 99-90 and 99-90.
After the eighth, Adeleye had nothing left in the Gastank, after being punctured. He was only there in the body, soaking punches in the nearby bars by the 2016 Olympic bronze medalist.
Adeleye, 28, was wild with his punches throughout the contest and was countered by the short and accurate Hrgovic arm strokes. Some of the punches that Adeleye lost would have damaged if they had connected them, but it was too wild. Hrgovic’s amateur background allowed him to get out of the path of Adeleye’s primitive attempts to hit him.
The struggle showed that Adeleye does not have the skills to mix it with a Hrgovic class fighter because he seemed to not belong within the ring with him. You have to give Adeleye a credit to stay -you do and make the shots, but it is. Hrgovic had too many advantage over him in the skills department.
