The WBA Featherweight, Nick Ball (23-0-1, 13 kos), was forced to fight hard to win a unanimous 12 rounds decision on the technically superior Sam Goodman (20-1, 8 kos) in an entertaining retinue contest on Saturday night in the main support struggle for support for Anb Arena de Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Ball seemed exhausted in the rounds of the championship from shootings and the constant attacks of the youngest fighter Goodman. In the twelfth round, Goodman landed a rapid four -punch combination that cut his ball over his left eye. The punches threw themselves so quickly that the ball could not react, and the head went the way with the punches.
The scores were 117-111, 118-110 (WTF?) And 115-113
Goodman set his feet in the last three rounds and the exalted ball, showing excellent power on his shots. If Sam had struggled like this before, he would have improved his chances of winning.
In fact, the struggle should have been marked a draw because Goodman fought the ball in the fight, and it was easily deserved to win six of the twelve rounds. The judges liked the work of the ball inside, ignoring the daggers, the right hands and the features of the body that Goodman hit him all night.
26 -year -old Goodman showed so many facets to his game, boxing, junction and picturesque landing that left their hooks on the ball’s body. It was the first time in the dance game that had been open and it was done to look at how a fighter was on his head in the real capacity.
A resale would make sense between these two fighters because it deserves one after the proximity that was disputed.
