Tijjani Reijnders enjoyed a debut in the Premier League to remember, producing an instrumental performance, as Manchester City achieved his search to regain the title of the Premier League and achieve a 4-0 victory in Wolves.
After the city was overthrown by Liverpool last season, Reijnders was one of the several players added to the squad of Pep Guardiola ahead of the Club World Cup.
This tournament did not give much window on how the tastes of the Reijnders, Rayan Cherki and Rayan Ait-Noururi could be entangled next to the city, but at Molineux Reijnders it provided a clear illustration of the influence that Pep Guardiola’s men could have this season, with one hand in three of the four goals.
He was a primary architect of the opening of Haaland, who saw the Norwegian Continue your score every opening day since you joined the city. The wolves started the second half brilliantly, with Jorgen Strand Larsen firing on the side network before seeing an effort included by the city goalkeeper, James Trafford.
Once again, however, Wolves’ prophet was punished as Kijnders combined perfectly with Bobb and left the ball in Haaland, the low strike of which was too hot so that SA could handle.
The city was in cruise control from then on and the substitute Cherki joined Kingjnders by scoring his debut with a goal, his intricate game of linking with Nico O’reilly concluded with an effort that flowed in the lower left corner.
