Soap opera star Tristan Rogers died on Friday, August 15. It was 79.
Longtime Rogers Manager, Meryl Sodakconfirm his death on Friday, saying ABC NEWS that the actor died that morning following battle with lung cancer.
Rogers were best known for playing Robert Scorpio on A general hospital. His role on the soap opera, which spaned 45 years, “meant everything to him,” according to Soodak.
“He loved to be Scorpio and he created that role of nothing. He was supposed to work a day and he made it a huge thing,” Rogers’ representative remembered. “He was just a true, faithful, kind human being and loved his family.”
