As India celebrates its 79th Independence DayCricket adds again to the pride of the nation. Throughout decades, on August 15, it has seen Team India go to the international stage, offering moments of glory, unforgettable drama and drama, creating a special chapter in the country’s sports history.

1952 – Rain saves the day against England
The first departure of India’s Day of Indian independence was a test against England, played from 14 to 19 August. The rain was washed much of the game, ending in a draw.
2001: shameful defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka
Fifty years later, India faced Sri Lanka and endured a strong defeat, losing 10 doctors in Galle.
2014 and 2015: Back
In 2014, England stepped on India for an entrance and 244 runs. The following year, Sri Lanka gave India a loss of 64 runs in a test.
2019 – Virated Kohli’s Century Seals Hate Glory
The Port of Spain Unbeaten Kohli 114 illuminated India, guiding India on a six -wicket victory over the western Indies and sealed the series in style.
2021 – Heroic of the Lord test
The most recent party on August 15 in India gave one of its largest victories. At Lord’s, Kl Rahul’s Ton scored the stage but it was Jasprit bumrah and the 70 Runs of Mohammed Shami for the last wick that turned the tide. India bowls searched England for 120 to get a famous 151 victory.
