Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu noted that efforts to cease the gas of Gaza are now focused on a comprehensive transaction on the release of all other hostages at the same time.
The plan that had previously been alienated was for the original 60-day truce and partial release of live hostages.
Hamas says the delegation of its leaders is in Cairo for “previous negotiations” with Egyptian officials.
The reports say that in the coming weeks the mediators see the window of the opportunity to try to promote the transaction.
After the indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas crashed last month, Israel has announced a contradictory plan to expand its military offensive and conquer the entire lane – including in areas where most two million Palestine residents are looking for asylum.
However, Israeli media does not expect the new operation to begin by October – which allows time for military training, including the mass call of reservists.
Meanwhile witnesses say Israel is there strengthened the attacks on the gas -sity With intense air strikes last day destroying houses.
At the beginning of Wednesday, al-Shifa hospital said that seven members of the same family, five of them, were killed when tents were aimed at Tel al-Hawa. Al-al-Hospital said 10 people were killed in a housing in the Zaytun area.
The Israeli military chief of Lieutenant Gen Eyal Zamir also approved the basic basis for the IDF prompt plan in the Gaza Strip, “the army said.
In an interview with Israeli TV channel I24, shown on Tuesday, Netanyahu was asked if a partial ceasefire is possible.
“I think it’s behind us,” he replied. “We tried, we did all kinds of attempts, we survived a lot, but it turned out that they were just misleading.”
“I want them all,” he said about the hostages. “Issue of all hostages, both alive and dead – in this and ours.”
Palestinian armed groups are still holding 50 hostages taken as a result of the attack under the leadership of Hamas on October 7, 2023, which caused the war. Israel believes that about 20 of them are still alive.
Netanyahu is under mounting pressure to ensure their release, as well as for plans to expand the war.
Last week, unnamed Arab officials quoted that regional mediators, Egypt and Qatar were preparing a new basis for a transaction that would make it possible to release all other hostages at the same time in return for war and the abolition of Israeli troops.
However, it will be difficult to do in a short time, as Israel demands that Hamas refuse to control gas as well as weapons.
This is probably why the Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelati told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday that Cairo was still “making great efforts” with Qatar and the United States – other mediators to revive the previous phased plan.
“The main goal is to return to the original proposal – 60 -day ceasefire – together with the release of some hostages and some Palestinian prisoners, as well as the stream of humanitarian and medical care in gas without obstacles and conditions,” Abdelati said.
Israeli Prime Minister says Israel’s goals have not changed. He says the war will end only when all the hostages return and Hamas gives.
Netanyahu said that in the end, Israel should retain security control.
Hamas has long called for a complete hostage exchange he conducted for Palestinian prisoners in Israel’s prisons. He also wants complete pulling out of Israeli forces and ending the war.
He refuses to disarm unless an independent Palestinian state is created.
Speaking before I24, Netanyahu also confirmed the idea that the Palestinians should simply leave the territory through “voluntary” emigration, saying, “They are not pushed, they will allow them to come out.”
He continued: “All those who are concerned about the Palestinians and say they wanted to help Palestinians open their gates and stop lectures.”
Palestinians, human rights groups and many in the international community warn that any forced resettlement of people from gas violates international law.
Many Palestinians are afraid to repeat what they call “Nakba” (disaster) when hundreds of thousands escaped or were forced from their houses in the battles that occurred before and after the state of Israel was created in 1948.
Most gases are descendants of those original refugees, and they have official refugee status.
Supported experts warn of the broad hunger that unfolds in gas, where Israel has greatly restricted the amount of humanitarian aid it allows.
The UN World Food Program has warned that fasting and malnutrition have been at the highest level since the conflict has begun.
In 2023, Hamas’s attack killed about 1,200 people in Israel, and 251 was taken as hostages.
Since then, the onset of Israel has killed at least 61 722 Palestinians, according to the Ministry of Health Hamas. It states that 235 people, including 106 children, also died of hunger and malnutrition.
