Macy Gray Storms Off The Masked Singer UK Stage After Elimination

Macy Gray made quite the exit during the UK version of The Hidden Singer.

After the audience voted to save other artists, Gray, 57, who was Toad in the Hole in the Show, performed against Bear. In the end, the judges chose to save Bear, sending Gray home – and leading her to walk off the stage.

Gray later returned in Saturday’s January 11 episode to reveal her identity and was interviewed by the host Joel Dommett. After the episode aired, Dommett, 39, shared a clip of his conversation with Gray. “Lol,” said the caption Instagram mail.

“You can’t feel angry when you’re dressed as a frog. In my professional career – I love Macy, she’s amazing, great voice – but I’ve never seen anything funnier than a 6ft frog attacking,” he said. “This is the funniest thing that I have ever seen in my life.”

Prior to Gray’s time on the UK version of the series, he previously competed on the US show in 2023. During the season 10 finale, Gray – who was Queen of the Sea – called herself a “seasonal performer” but noted that The Hidden Singer difficult because of her dress. “It’s hot in there!” she quipped.
