Recently published police documents shed a new light in the last weeks of the 10-year life of Batista, revealing the alarming allegations of abuse and numerous attempts to leave her life situation.
A 36-page report from the Novakha District Sheriff’s office presented an interview with her father Richard Batista and his girl Anisi Woods after the opening of the child, which responds to the child on July 27.
Later, Rebecca was announced dead in three days at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Both adults now face Charges of first -degree murder.

Woods initially claimed that the neighbor found Rebecca, who did not respond after she had escaped. However, law enforcement agencies noted that this was not the first time the child tried to escape.
The records show that Rebecca had previously jumped out of the window to Phoenix and made some other escape attempts after moving to Concho, the final that took place on the day when she was taken to the hospital.

In one call, she told the dispatcher that they were going to Holbrok, believing that there was an EMS station. The dispatcher instructed her to drag the doctors so that the doctors could reach them.
When asked if the CPR was introduced, Woods said she was breathing into the Rebecca’s mouth, but did not start compression in her chest. The dispatcher asked her to put the baby on a solid ground, but Woods hesitant, noting that it was not sure to put her on the rocks.
The ambulance crews arrived shortly afterwards, but Rebecca did not survive her injuries.

Both Woods and Baptist are now faced with the accusation of killing and cruelty of children not only with the death of Rebecca, but also by the abuse of two younger siblings.
During an interview with investigators Woods, he said he could be a “prison time”, while Batista expressed remorse, saying he did not deserve to be a father.
Prosecutors claimed that Rebecca suffered from constant physical and sexual violence.

“First, let me say that this is obviously a very tragic situation, and we are definitely considering what happened,” the Hobs said earlier. “The information we had in the agency to this case, and what led to her death, we will definitely investigate, and if there is something that we haven’t done correctly, we will do our best to fix it.
