The August 8 report noted that trigg in the backyard was unattended for more than nine minutes And it was in the water for about seven of those minutes, despite Brady’s claim to start that the incident happened over just a few minutes.
When Brady saw the dog watching the poolHe had a “bad feeling” and went outside. Brady found Tigg floating in the pit he went on to jump in and call 911.
Us He confirmed that Trigg died on the afternoon of May 18. The Chandler, Arizona, said a police department in a statement to Us that “the investigation into the circumstances relating to this incident continues to proceed.”

Emilie filed a legal proceedings asking the court to prevent the release of records relating to the death of trigg.
“Emilie is currently going through a worst parent nightmare. Her young son, her three -year -old Chapman Kiser (‘trigg’), lost on May 18, 2025, following accidental drowning of a heartbreaking in the family home on May 12, 2025,” read the legal case from the Reizona re -commutant. “Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, Theodore age two months. But every day is a battle.”

Researchers recommended that Brady be accused of the Class 4 felony accusation of child abuse.
“Chandler Police Department has completed her tragic tragic drowning three-year-old Kiser. Following a thorough review of the evidence, researchers have recommended a Class 4 felony accusation of child abuse against Brady Kiser,” read a then shared statement. “The case has now been submitted to the County Attorney Office Maricopa for review.”
Days after researchers shared their recommendation that Brady should be accused of child abuse, the local attorney’s office eventually decided to follow accusations.
“A video surveillance video showed out of the home how the drowning and the actual timeline of events happened,” read a statement. “In order to convict a person of this accusation, the state must prove beyond reasonable suspicion of a unanimous jury that the individual has failed to detect a significant and unjustified risk, and that failure to find the risk is a gross deviation of the standard of care that a reasonable person would show.”
Brady’s attorney Flynn Carey Subsequently said that they were “grateful to the enforcement of the county’s law and attorney for conducting a thorough investigation and confirming that this is a tragic accident.”
The statement concluded, “Brady remains in the mourning process and is grateful to be with his family as they recover together. We appreciate the compassion and support shown during this difficult time.”
Emilie tried to prevent the public from seeing documents allegedly showing the reasoning behind the researchers’ recommendation of criminal charges against Brady. Emilie claimed that edited documents could prevent potential “harassment” content, including adspayments with artificial intelligence.
“The section of the report Ms Kiser seeks to redo -contains information and a joint context that is essential to provide a fairly full public understanding of the drowning investigation, the police department’s decision to recommend criminal charges and the county’s attorney’s decision not to pursue criminal charges,” Matthew Kelleya lawyer for The Republic of Arizona He said at the time.

The statement concluded, “From the beginning, this is about the defense of trigg and the family’s ability to mourn private. This decision allows them, and the public, to remember the lovely life he lived, not the tragic way he ended.”
