It seems that the next generation of Rooney is already making movements.
Kai Rooney, 15 -year -old Manchester United’s son, has received a surprise call to the club’s minor of 19 years old (a three -age group jump) after illuminating the pitch in the Superclup nor (formerly known as the Milk Cup).
The young striker was highlighted for those under the age of 16 in the United States in Northern Ireland, and pointed out both goals and assists, as the reds pushed the stages of the unbeaten group, only to fall 1-0 to Southampton in the final in Coleraglonds.
Now, at the back of this performance, Kai has been written in the U.S. U-19 squad for the prestigious Mladen Ramljak Tournament in Croatia, a competition that had previously presented the tastes of Luka Modrić and Eduardo Camavinga.
The teenager seems to be enjoying the moment, sharing an instagram for an instagram of his hotel configuration, completed with a pool and a view, titled with a degree: “19 years old Tournament soon.”
The young guns in the United States have landed in Group A, where they will face the Giants of the Juventus Academy, Rapid București and Dinamo Zagreb.
Of course, Kai still has a long way ahead if he coincides with his father’s legacy, Wayne is still the highest scorer of all time with 253 goals, but if this last step is something to go, the child has the pedigree … and the platform to succeed.
