Goldy Chan knows how to put yourself there.
Chan, the founder and the head of content for the Branding Agency of Warm Robots, is also the author, a frequent speaker and the main voice of LinkedIn.
However, she describes herself as introvert to your liking – which has submitted to the growth of his career.
“I think a lot of people underestimate the workplace introverts,” she says.
According to Chan, construction personal brand was key for her success. Earlier in his career Chan worked “completely behind the scenes” in different roles of marketing and social media, she says.
In 2017, she started posting short videos about pop culture and marketing on LinkedIn, which at the time conducted testing her video function.
Becoming the creator of the content was not initially her plan: “I really thought I would just do it until I get my next full work,” Chan recollects.
While it has posted more than 800 daily videos between the roles – the pace it doesn’t necessarily recommend “if you no longer want to sleep,” and quickly attracted a large audience.
Today, she has more than 100,000 followers on LinkedIn, and this platform has helped her new roles, get a book transaction and share the expert council as a participant forbes.
“I grew up my own personal brand through a lot of sequence and hard work,” she says.
Chan writes about how introverts can grow their career in their future book “Personal Branding for Introverts”, that debuted in October.

“I had so many introverts who approached me and said, ‘I was so horrified to grow my personal brand because I don’t want to put myself there,” she says.

“The personal brand is never created isolated,” Chan says. “Participation in groups that interest you, even if they are not directly related to your career, can actually help in your career.”

“All these different spokes are all the different things you do, and they all connect to the center center – so everything you do will always help your overall personal brand,” she says.
