Deferred Police Report outlining death investigation Emilie and Brady KiserTrigg’s son revealed new details of the fatal incident.
In the editing report obtained by Weekly US On Friday, August 8, police officers noted that a pool cover had not been in place the day their 3 -year -old drowned.
“On the south western part of the pool, I noticed a large netting and the top of fabric rolls up on PVC carriers,” read the documents. “These were coverings for the pool that were not used at the time. It was later learned that the covers were in the work of most of the time, but had recently moved so that the family could enjoy the pool. They have never been replaced.”
Emilie, 26, and Brady trigg’s son drowned in the family pit in May before he was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Trigg died after seeking life -saving measures.
Brady had been home alone with the couple’s younger son Teddy, while Emilie was out of the house. He said in a search guarantee that he was “distracted” by Teddy and did not see Trigg wandering outside and, while playing with an inflatable chair, falling into the pool.
Emilie, an influencer, has not addressed her son’s death or the resulting investigation in public. She has filed a legal case, petitioning the court to prevent the release of records about the circumstances of trigg.
“Emilie is currently going through a worst parent nightmare. Her young son, her three -year -old Chapman Kiser (‘trigg’), lost on May 18, 2025, following accidental drowning of a heartbreaking in the family home on May 12, 2025,” read the legal case. “Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, Theodore age two months. But every day is a battle.”
Emilie score a legal victory On Friday, when the court ruled the re -vowels of the police investigation.
“This case requires difficult balancing between two strong but competitive interests: the strong public right in examining government records under the law of Arizona’s public records, and the intense privacy rights of a mournful mother,” the judge wrote in a letter obtained by Us. “Courts acknowledge that privacy concerns can overrun the public’s right to know when disclosure would cause certain and material harm … The balancing test is specific to facts: a non -disclosure must show the likelihood of harm that is significant enough to disregard the assumption of access. “
Researchers also recommended that Brady is charged with Class 4 Felony Pay of child abuse.
“Chandler Police Department has completed her tragic tragic drowning three-year-old Kiser. Following a thorough review of the evidence, researchers have recommended a Class 4 felony accusation of child abuse against Brady Kiser,” read a statement shared in July. “The case has now been submitted to the County Attorney Office Maricopa for review.”
After a formal investigation, the local attorney’s office Choose from pursuing accusations.
“A video surveillance video showed out of the home how the drowning and the actual timeline of events happened,” read a statement. “In order to convict a person of this accusation, the state must prove beyond reasonable suspicion of a unanimous jury that the individual has failed to detect a significant and unjustified risk, and that failure to find the risk is a gross deviation of the standard of care that a reasonable person would show.”
Brady’s attorney Flynn Carey Also released a statement.
“We are grateful to enforce the County’s law and attorney for conducting a thorough investigation and confirming that this is a tragic accident,” said Carey. “Brady remains in the middle of the mourning process and is grateful to be with his family as they improve together. We appreciate the compassion and support shown during this difficult time.”
